Happy Thanksgiving to all our Campers, Parents, and Volunteer Staff! We pray you have a wonderful week celebrating and being with family.  We appreciate your daily prayers for the camp, its volunteers, the winter campers, and God’s provision for this ministry.

 

We want to make you aware of two upcoming events, a short reminder about City Market Community Rewards, and give you the dates of all our activities next year so please read on!

 

We will once again be participating in Facebook’s fundraising day: Giving Tuesday. Here’s the info.

Facebook's match for Giving Tuesday 2019 begins at 8:00 AM Eastern Time (5:00 AM Pacific Time) on Tuesday, December 3, 2019. Donations are matched dollar for dollar on a first-come, first-served basis until the match is met. ... Facebook will match up to a total of $100,000 per nonprofit organization.

  • Here’s how: go to https://www.facebook.com/TepeeBibleCamp/ as early as 6 a.m. Mountain Time on Tuesday December 3, 2019 and donate any amount you wish to the camp. The best times to ensure your donation will be matched are between 6 and 8 a.m. You may give any time that day and any day until December 12, but funds will only be matched on Dec. 3rd.  You will receive an emailed receipt from the entity Facebook has chosen to collect the funds. So, watch your email to enable you to claim your giving on your yearly taxes.
  • How much money will we be attempting to raise? $3500 What will the funds go toward? The funds will go toward gathering maintenance supplies for:
    • Re-siding the west side of the long house- $800
    • A new deck for the craft house- $500
    • Two or more loads of road base and gravel for the parking area and driveways $500
    • Funds to pay electricians, drywallers, and plumbers for upgrades to the Eat’um House kitchen and dining area. $750-1000 (This will include the installation of the dishwasher.)
    • Two new showers plus installation in the long house – staff quarters. $700-950
  • Any amount you can give will be greatly appreciated and remember if you give between 6 and 8 a.m. Mountain time, your donations will be matched by Facebook.

Teen staff training:                                                          June 26-27 (9 a.m. Fri. to 6 p.m. Sat)

Adult Staff Training:                                                        June 27 or 28   8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Summer Camps:                                                               June 28-July 1   (5 p.m. Sun to 4 p.m. Wed)  Age 7- Entering Grade 4

TEEPEE BIBLE CAMP 2020 WINTER CAMP INFORMATION

There is Power in the Name of Jesus!

Camp dates are:                   Grades 7-12  Jan. 24-26                        Grades 2-6  Jan. 31-Feb. 2

 

Camps start with supper at 6 pm Friday and end at 2 p.m. Sunday.  The fee per camper is $50 which includes the

$20 non-refundable pre-registration fee. Please pre-register by Jan. 15 for the 1s camp and Jan. 22 for the 2nd camp.

After these dates the total cost will be $60. Space is limited to 26 campers per camp, so register early!

No Health forms are required for these camps!

 

WHAT TO BRING TO SNOW CAMP: Lots of winter clothing, snow pants or suit, mittens/gloves, boots, plenty of socks,

Bible, pen or pencil, notebook, flashlight, toiletries, sleeping bag, pillow, towel and washcloth. Medications you are

taking will be kept in a locked container and administered by camp staff per physician instructions.

Some activities include: Bible Study, Music, Foosball, Tubing, Ping Pong, Snow Sculpting, Indoor and Outdoor

games. PLEASE leave portable gaming and music devices, cell phones, magazines, guns, knives, tobacco in any form,

illegal drugs, alcohol, and immodest clothing at home.

 

Are you signed up for City Market Community Rewards? If so, remember to go to your City Market account at citymarket.com enter Teepee Bible Camp AGAIN as your Charitable Organization. Our organization number is: UX193. If you need help doing this, you can call the camp or go to the downloads page on the camp website under camper documents. There are instructions there.

If you would like to sign up to have City Market donate 5% of your grocery bill to Teepee Bible Camp, make sure you have a City Market Value Card. Next create an online account using the value card number, and choose Community Rewards on the left-hand side of the web page- scroll down to it. Finally name Teepee Bible Camp as your Charitable Organization.  Our organization number is UX193. Be aware that you must go back to your account every year and name Teepee Bible Camp as your Charitable Organization.

 

Prayer Requests:

  • Protection by the Holy Spirit for the camp facilities, all our volunteers and campers.
  • Physical and Spiritual strength for all our volunteers.
  • That God would call teens and adults to volunteer as staff for all our 2020 camps and retreats
  • That the Holy Spirit would lay the need for workers at our Work Days on folks hearts so we may continue the upkeep of the camp.
  • For wisdom and vision given by the Holy Spirit for our Board of Directors: John, Tim, Jane, George, Zach, and Nancy. And the same for Skip and Marie, camp directors.
  • For Protection and spiritual awakening for all the youth who attend our 2020 camps and retreats.
  • That God would guide and bless all the fundraising efforts by the Board of Directors and the Camp Directors.
